As a community advocate, Laura has raised funds for The Phoenix Dream Center, the largest rehabilitation center in the Western United States helping victims of human trafficking. Laura's fundraising efforts were specifically to help remodel rooms for Women and Young Children housed in the Phoenix Dream Center. She has also partnered with The Million Dollar Teacher Project to supoort Arizona Teachers. Laura receintly presented a $10,000 check to kick start the organization's endowment fund to assist teacher's in need and provide scholarships.
As the new Air Force Sergents Association Family Matters Trustee (Chapter 1260), Laura looks forward to bringing awareness and education to the community about AFSA. She also looks forward to building partnerships with other organizations to increase AFSA's Visibility, gain support for the local chapter and assist with member retention.
Laura is a Phoenix area resident where she lives with her husband Mario and their dogs, Max, Patrick and Jordie.
